Net4Society Annual Meeting Held in Sofia

On 12–13 June 2025, Sofia hosted the annual meeting of Net4Society – the support network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Cluster 2 “Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society” under the Horizon Europe programme (2021–2027). The event, organised by NTCenter, offered an unforgettable experience, blending an intensive professional agenda with the unique cultural atmosphere of the Bulgarian capital.

Over two days, newcomer NCPs took part in hands-on training sessions and briefings on the wide range of Net4Society services. The programme also included site visits to leading local GLAM institutions such as the National Museum of History, the archaeological level of St. Sophia Basilica, the National Library, and the National Art Gallery (Kvadrat 500). Participants had the chance to meet with Bulgarian partners in Horizon Europe projects, gaining insights into the challenges and achievements of their collaborative efforts.

Sofia welcomed guests with warm weather, blooming roses, and the scent of linden trees, inviting them to explore its green spaces and centuries-old cultural heritage. Seasonal cuisine and fine local wine enriched the experience, ensuring lasting emotional memories.

The event further strengthened the network’s commitment to non-formal communication and the exchange of good practices, reinforcing collaboration across Europe in the cultural and creative sectors.
